With the Mindful Trader service, you can simply follow my stock picks and options picks or you can also take the step of learning the strategies behind the picks and developing your own trading expertise.
If you have a lot of trading experience, then doing either of those should be pretty straight-forward. I give you all the pertinent information when I post stock picks so that you can make the same trade in your own account if you want. And if you'd like to learn the trade strategies themselves, all my instructional material should be pretty digestible.
If you do not have a lot of trading experience, that's absolutely ok! It just means you'll have to get familiarized with what the stock picks look like and how to benefit from them.
That's what this section of the website is for. This page has information dedicated to helping you understand every facet of the picks I post. My goal is to make sure that you are fully informed and have all the information at your fingertips. Here are helpful resources:
The first thing is to understand what the stock picks will even look like. This webpage will show you that in a lot more detail.
This page shows all the ways you can keep track of what exactly I'm trading.
After you know what they look like, this page will help you understand how to interpret what you're seeing in the stock picks I post.
Once you understand the alert, the next piece of the puzzle is figuring out how many shares you want to order. This webpage gives you details about how exactly I calculate how many shares I will trade and also gives other alternative position sizing ideas for you to consider.

Something I get asked a lot is whether a person can benefit from the stock picks if they don't see them right away. I did a study to show what the economic impact on your account might be from a delay in seeing the stock pick. Go to this webpage to learn more. And keep in mind that you can learn to perform these trading strategies on your own if you don't want to be reliant on my stock picks.
If you like the idea of trading options instead of stocks (or in addition to stocks), then you can follow my options picks. All my options trades are derived from my back-tested stock trading strategy. The options give me a vehicle that could potentially have more home run trades, although there is likely a tradeoff with win percentage and risk.
If you sign up for my stock picking service, I recommend that in the beginning you use a paper trading account to practice making the trades on your own. This page explains why.
I use the Think or Swim trading platform (offered for free by TD Ameritrade). You can use whatever trading platform you want. But if you want to use what I use, then this page will help you get set up.
I post my trades for both stocks and options trades. Some people don't want to participate in the options trades. If you find yourself hesitant to jump in on the options picks, check out this page.
