The market is up some since the last time I emailed. The S&P 500 topped the 3,800 mark and has held its ground so far this morning. It's around 3,820 right now.
I had three more stock positions lock in profits since my last email. CLX reached its profit target yesterday. I also manually closed PXD for a small profit.
And RETA, which announced earnings before the market opened, gapped up past my profit target. The earnings volatility went my way on that one. That means the final price my position sold for was higher than my profit target.
Going back to October 26, across all accounts, I have closed 16 wins and 2 losses. It's been a nice hot streak, and it even encompassed the period with the market tumble after the Fed's announcement last week. The trade outcomes don't typically maintain this high of a win percentage, so I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts.
I've taken on one new position so far today. I bought shares of MMP stock in the main account.
