Hey Guys,
The market is still pretty bouncy. The S&P 500 got up to around 3,800 this morning but now is back down around 3,770.
I picked up some new positions today. In the main account, I bought shares of stock for GSK. That one was not on the watch list because it was so far from reaching its potential entry price, but it gapped way down overnight and triggered an entry. I bought the options for GSK in the extra options account, too. I bought stock positions for RBLX and WH in the low-priced account.
I manually closed my ABBV stock position this morning since it reached its time limit. That one locked in a small profit.
I earned a dividend over the weekend on KMT. Anyone who owned it as of the close of market on Friday through the market opening today will automatically receive the dividend. No action is needed to receive it and most brokerages will automatically credit it to your brokerage account at some point in the coming weeks.
I have two positions where earnings will be announced overnight tonight: RETA and PKI. Things could get volatile for those two since earnings announcements can often spike the price in either direction. I will hold both overnight as per my original trading plan, but if you don't like the sound of that extra volatility, you can consider closing the position(s) before the close of market today. RETA is pretty close to its profit target, so it might automatically close before the end of the day anyway.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
