Hey Guys,
The market has been pretty volatile over the last 24 hours. The S&P 500 had a pretty sizeable drop during the day yesterday, but then recovered by the end of the day and even opened today up 20 points. But after the opening bell, it dropped 30 points. Right now, it's around 5,900 again.
Some of the volatility might be due to the release of NVDA's earnings overnight last night. Over the last year, each time they release earnings, it has given the market a jolt of volatility.
My PTON option trade reached its profit target yesterday. In the stocks account, my positions for PTON and APH reached their profit targets. My stock position for VFC reached its time limit, so I manually closed it this morning. It ended up in the losing column.
I haven't yet taken on any new trades yet today because nothing from the watch list has triggered yet. But I still have a pretty big load of positions in my stocks account.
All three of the open positions in my options account reached their time limits today, so I'll be manually closing those near the end of the trading session today unless they reach their profit targets before then.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
