Hey Guys,
The market came up some overnight. The S&P 500 is around 4,130 at the time I'm typing this.
Unfortunately for me, the consumer defensive sector went down overnight again. I hit my stoploss on one of my MDLZ stock positions. And my options positions for MDLZ and PEP are all down noticeably.
That last couple of weeks have not been easy! There have been some tough losses. What I can tell you is that I've been through stretches like this before. Things can feel gloomy, and sometimes it can be hard to imagine it being better. But then at some point rainbows and butterflies show up and it's the opposite feeling. I'm not saying that we're on the doorstep of a winning streak since there's no way to tell what's coming next in the market. There is real risk involved. But I am saying that I've lived through bad stretches, and after things turn around I often look back and realize I didn't need to be so attached to the trading results during the drawdown because they were just a small piece of the bigger picture.
I bought CAH stock today in the main account. I haven't yet picked up any other positions.
I have some options positions that reached their time limits today. I'll be manually closing those at the end of the trading session today unless they reach their profit targets first.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
