The market is down a bit to start the morning. It gave up all the gains is had secured on Monday and is back in the range it had been in most of last week.
I had a bunch of positions get closed out. My BUD stock position reached its profit target, and my HMC stock position hit its stop loss. I also had two stock trades reach their time limits today: WTRG ended up with a profit and BABA ended up with a loss. It was a mixed bag both today and overall this week for my stocks account.
The same was true for my options account. I had four positions close yesterday, and two came out with profits while the other two came out with losses. One of the losses was a heavy one (MRK), which dragged me down and gave that account a negative overall return for the week.
With all those positions closing, it largely the decks in both accounts. And I started building back up my accounts with some new trades today. In the stocks account, I bought shares of BIDU and OKTA. I bought the options for those same tickers in my options account.
