Mindful Trader Commentary For March 10, 2025

Hey Guys,

The market had a rough day to start the day Friday, but then showed a nice recovery by the end of the day. Over the weekend, though, the market dropped again and is back to its low from Friday. The S&P 500 is around 5,700 right now.

I had two more stock positions reach their profit targets this morning: ECL and TMUS. It's a great way to start the week, especially considering the market's recent turbulence. We're picking up where we left off last week in terms of profitability.

I took on just one new position so far today. I bought shares of NVO in the stocks account.

I had an interesting experience with NVO this morning. I had a buy limit order in for it since it was at the top of the watch list, and even though the stock opened beneath my buy limit price, my order didn't get immediately filled. In this case, the order didn't get filled until 2 minutes after the opening bell. That type of thing is rare, but it occasionally happens, even with major trading platforms like Think or Swim. Instead of getting frustrated about it, I try to accept that it's bound to happen every once in a while.

If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
