No new trades yet as of this morning. I'm just patiently waiting for trades to set up.
Since I'm primarily a pullback trader, sometimes my trade opportunities are a little thin when the market is reaching new highs. For me, this is ok. I understand that I can't force these trades to come to me, and I don't mind having some days that are quiet. Those quiet days of market highs often pave the road for successful pullback trades.
My VST position hit its profit target today. And my MES futures position hit its profit target over the weekend. I don't have any trades expiring today or tomorrow.
This leaves me with just 5 open stock positions and no open options positions. This is definitely much lighter than usual. It's all part of the ebb and flow of the market and of this trading approach. There will be plenty of periods ahead where my portfolio is loaded up.
