The market went back up during the day yesterday and overnight. The S&P 500 is now back up near 3800. Let's see if it can hold its ground and start a bigger ascent.
I had a couple trades close since my last email. My trade on VEEV hit the profit target. That was interesting to see after yesterday's email where I talked about the potential emotions surrounding VEEV's setback in unrealized profit.
I also manually closed my stock position on VMW since it reached its time limit. For some reason that one didn't want to go up with the market over the last 24 hours, and it locked in a partial loss.
I have an option position for VMW that reached its time limit today. Normally I would close that at the end of the trading session today. But I might not be at my desk at that time today, so if I'm not, then I plan to close it first thing when the market opens tomorrow instead (assuming it hasn't hit a profit target or stoploss before then).
There are no new trades today in any account. It's been quiet all week in that regard.
