Hey Guys,
The market is still up after yesterday's Fed announcement, which is a nice sign of strength. The S&P 500 is around 5,430 right now.
I haven't taken on any new positions yet today, although I did end up buying some SBUX stock in the main account yesterday after I sent out the morning email.
There are a few tickers from the watch list that are getting within range of activating a trade. We'll see if any of those get filled soon.
I have an option trade for AFL that reached its time limit today. I'll be manually closing that trade near the closing bell today unless it reaches its profit target first. When closing an option position manually, I like to set up a sell limit order and choose a price that is between the prevailing bid and ask at that time, with a lean toward the ask. If it doesn't fill right away, then I keep adjusting the sell limit price lower until it fills. In my trading platform, the process of changing the price is really fast and easy because I can use my mouse to drag and drop the sell limit order to a new price on the "price ladder".
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
