The market took off yesterday and took our accounts on a nice ride, but then it fell backward and erased about half of that gain overnight. The S&P 500 is around 4,735 right now, which is still a nice distance from that 4,700 price level where it started yesterday. We'll see if it can get that upward momentum going again.
I had a few positions hit profit targets as the market soared yesterday. My ZS stock position from the double down account hit its profit target, and so did my DHI and DIA option positions from the options account.
That DIA option position was one that reached its profit target the same day I opened it. Those don't happen very often, so it's fun to see them when they come around.
I only took on one new position today. I bought options for CSX in the options account. I don't have any buying power available in the main account; I'm totally stuffed with positions there, so I won't be able to take on any new positions in that account until an existing position gets closed.
