Hey Guys,
The market is still flashing a lot of volatility. This is a price chart for the S&P 500 as of the time I'm typing this email:
So you can see that it's been wiggling all over the place over the last few weeks. Within any given day, the S&P 500 can cover a lot of ground in either direction.
My stock trade for MRVL reached its profit target this morning. Nice to see a winner in the stocks account after taking that loss on TCOM yesterday.
With those option trades that reached their time limits yesterday, the net effect was nearly a wash and came in just under breakeven. The profit from the MRVL trade offset the loss from the DOCU trade, and the VFC trade came in just a bit under breakeven. Obviously we want to be scoring profits as much as possible, but it feels like a victory that we didn't see bigger losses in that account considering that the market overall was noticeably red during the period we held those positions.
There haven't been any new trades yet today.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
