The market is down a bit this morning. The S&P 500 is around 4,115. The last couple days it's been a little more quiet than in had been for most of the start of the year. But it could still erupt in either direction at any moment.
I picked up some new positions today. In the main account, I bought shares of TRU and EFX. In the options account, I bought options for AMZN and TSM. In the double down account, I bought shares of IAC and INCY.
I haven't closed any positions yet today. There was an odd thing that happened with my HSBC options yesterday, though. My stoploss got hit somehow, and the reason it's odd is that my stoploss was set for 1.02 and the lowest that the intrinsic value of the options got yesterday was 1.64. In my all my years of trading options, I don't recall ever having an option sell for so much less than the intrinsic value. I reached out to my broker to get more information. I'm hoping some of you still have the position open, especially since it gapped up overnight.
