Hey Guys,
The market finally stopped its ascent. It's been hovering in a skinny range since the market opened yesterday. This might be good for us because when the market takes a breather it can funnel more trading opportunities to us.
I closed my GIS stock position this morning since it reached the time limit. I locked in almost a full profit. That caps off a great month for me. I went 12-1 on stock trades in my main account this month. And that's despite the fact that there was market turbulence in the middle of the month. Pretty awesome! It's not typical to have results quite that good, so I'm going to savor it.
This is the first time since I started the business that I don't have a single position open. It feels weird to me. I've done more than 400 trades in the last year, but right now I have none open.
But like I've said in a lot of my recent emails, patience could pay off. Making trades when there may not be an edge doesn't sound like a recipe I'd want to follow. I want to stick to the plan and only get in the action if the back-tested research indicates there might be an edge.
So I'm going to stay cool and wait for the trades to set up. They will come.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
