Hey Guys,
The market took another big plunge yesterday, which gave us a reminder of the state of volatility it's in. The S&P 500 had been going up in the morning, but then dropped more than 100 points by the end of the day. This morning it's rebounding to some degree, but as I've been saying for a few weeks, things are volatile and the market can make explosive moves in either direction at any time.
My INCY stock position was one of the casualties of yesterday's market drop, and it hit its stop loss.
Other than that, most of my open stock positions are profitable right now. My option positions aren't faring as well, partly because I still have positions that were taken before the weekend's big market drop.
And speaking of option positions, there are a number that reached their time limits today. I'll be manually closing those near the closing bell of today's trading session.
I picked up one new position today. I bought shares of stock for LNT in the main account.
If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
