I picked up some new stock positions today. In fact, I picked up three! I normally max out at two stock trades in a day (as a way of diversifying and managing my buying power outlay), but there was a third one that came along and used up very little extra buying power. Since I had missed a play the day before due to a lack of buying power, I decided to pick up this third trade today as a way of compensating.
The stocks I bought were TSN, NUE, and D. I also grabbed TSN options for my extra options account.
I had two stock trades reach their time limit this morning, so I closed those out. ED took a small loss and AGR took a medium win, for a combined net profit overall.
Have you ever dreamed of owning part of a tractor supply company? Well if you followed me on my TSCO trade, then your dream came true. And so far, that trade has been a wild ride. Two days in a row, the price charged upward, only to completely change course and go right back down. This trade is offering me a good opportunity to practice some patience and mindfulness!
