Hey Guys,
The market opened today at about the same place as it closed yesterday, which is roughly 5,440 for the S&P 500. The market was relatively quiet yesterday and overnight as shown by this chart:
You can see that the last two price bars are relatively short compared to the eight price bars prior that are really tall and have huge ranges. Perhaps it's a sign that the volatility is quieting down a little. Or maybe it's just a temporary "breather". We'll wait and see.
At this point I don't have any open positions in either my stocks account or my options account. There are also no tickers on the watch list today for the Stocks or Options list, which makes my job easy today. It means I don't have any buy limit orders open, and therefore I won't be taking on any new positions today.
